The Eligibility required for the recruitment drive of SSC Junior Translator 2023 for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, and Senior Hindi Translator is described below.

Nationality
The candidate for SSC Junior Translator 2023 must be a Citizen of either India or Nepal or Bhutan. If a candidate is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan shall have a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India in favor of him/her.

Educational Qualification
Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator

Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
or
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level and recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking

Step 2: On the SSC homepage, click the ‘Apply’ option.

Step 3: Search for the ‘Junior Translator Examination’ link. Click on the link.

Step 4: You will get a ‘Login to Apply for the examination’ prompt. Click on ‘Ok’.

Step 5: You will be redirected back to the SSC homepage, where you will find the Login section. If you are a new user, click on ‘Register Now’ and enter all your details on the next page to generate your registration number and password, else login with your pre-registered details.

Step 6: Fill in the application with the required details, and make sure that the details are correctly entered and there is no discrepancy.

Step 7: Once the application form is filled, attach the required scanned documents and review the details filled in the application form.
